Automotive Body Shop Technician
Excalibur, is seeking to hire an experienced Automotive Body Technician with a minimum of 3 years experience. We are looking for someone who can handle heavy as well as light repairs. ASE and I-Car Certification a plus and highly desired. Willing to be certified, but not required.

You must be willing to submit to a background check and drug test. Bring your creative and competitive A game! Bare in mind we are exploring taking sharing our shop and craft in a reality show. We will also enter restoration competitions and car shows.

Located in beautiful sunny Tampa, Florida, home of Bush Gardens and 1 hour from Disney World. We are locally owned and operated custom car and auto repair service facility. We are centrally  located  in the heart of  sunbelt of Florida, and about 6 miles down the road from Bush Gardens, 1 hour from Disney World.

Excalibur Custom Car & Autobody Manager
Excalibur, is looking for a manager with exceptional leadership and management skills, with expertise in all phases of custom auto painting, restoration and auto body and insurance repair. Excalibur needs a manager who can take ownership of the shop, staff performance, to include estimating, sales, profitability, customer service, production, employee relations, insurance relations, and more.  We seek an outstanding individual who has people skills with both the client and the employee. Compensation TBD. Incredible opportunity for profit share. You must be willing to submit to a background check and drug test. Bring your creative and competitive A game! Bare in mind we are exploring taking sharing our shop and craft in a reality show. We will also enter restoration competitions and car shows. 

Your duties would include but not limited too:

- Please send your resume no more than 3/pages with a cover letter telling us what your plan would be to take Excalibur to the next level.

-Writing estimates ( we use Mitchell Estimating)

- Scheduling appointments (calling customers back to get their work)

- Staying in touch with customers through out the process

-Supplying all techs with an estimate or work order before the job is started (with a due date on it!)

- Managing the body techs' daily schedule

-Getting the techs ready every morning ( making sure they know what has to be done in what order)

-Preform quality checks on the technicians through the day on their jobs

- Tracking their hours ( flat rate & hourly guys, to include 1099 independent contractors)

- Ordering parts

-Checking in parts (making sure they are correct & there is no damage)

-Ordering and keeping inventory of supplies

- Communication with insurance companies

-Coach and develop your staff, and address any situations as they arise to maintain a positive and cooperative work environment

-Walking the vehicle for final grade ( was everything done on the estimate & properly?)

-Maintain and foster vendor relationships

Requirements:

-Working knowledge of collision repair

-A working understanding of Auto Claims process

- Appraiser's License

- 10+ years of experience preferred

- Knowledge of managing

- Basic Computer skills

-A desire to help us improve the process that serves our customers

Automotive Body Paint  Technician

Essential Job Functions:

  Repair, customize and paint in accordance with work orders.
  Provides diagnostic, repair, or replacement services to customers.
  - Executes work orders while diagnosing and repairing recreational vehicle equipment and structures while determining best product for repair.

  - Provides great customer service.
  Keeps track of parts and materials used in repair or replacement activities.

  - Plans sequence of functions necessary for repair or replacement activities.

  - Keep units and equipment secure from weather.

  - Keeps supervisor apprised of work progress and ensures that the final work product is inspected by supervisor or designee.

  - Demonstrates operation of newly installed equipment.

  - Performs related troubleshooting tasks based on skill level.

  - Monitors operation of newly installed equipment.

  - Maintains a safe work area for customers and coworkers.

  - Performs other miscellaneous duties as assigned and performs duties at company established performance levels, all duties included but not limited to posted duties.

Essential Job Skills:

  - Must have previous paint and collision repair experience.
  - Good written and oral communication skills.
  - Basic mathematical ability.
  - Must have own tools, and be able to demonstrate your craft before hiring.
  - Must be able to withstand prolonged periods of standing, stooping, crawling, and bending
  May lift up to 25 lbs and/or move up to 50 lbs. with assistive devices.
  - Exposure to heights and hazards related to working with electrical and welding equipment.
  - Environmental conditions include heat, cold, humidity, noise, dust and wetness and exposure to paint , chemicals and compounds used in an auto body repair shop. Must be familiar with health and safety practices in performing painting and repair duties.
  Valid Driver's License and acceptable driving record.
